How Fast a Year Goes By!

Wow!  A whole year has gone by and what a wonderful year it has been!  We have made new friends and had a great time taking part in all that our quaint small town of North East, PA offers.  From North East Uncorked! and enjoying a flashback to the disco era, Gibson Days, Picnic in the Park Thursdays and Cherry Festival week.  Wine Fest was a lot of fun and Mark Knoedler (of WICU TV) and I paired up together to win the Grape Stomp-Off competition that took place in Gibson Park.  Caty, one of the vendors at Ruby's paired up with David Wolter of WICU TV, to stomp as well.  They did well, but were beat out in an earlier round.  My feet were black for days!  I can't wait until next year to stomp again with Caty (and maybe a few others!)

We were humbled by the customers who came out to shop during Small Business Saturday.  We are very grateful for the support we receive.  Last, but not least, Light Up Night and Sugar Plum Weekend were fantastic!  We lit the Christmas tree in Gibson park while waiting for Santa to arrive.  Children chased the firetruck through the park as he made his big appearance.  I hope all had as much fun as we did!

We want to take this time to thank each and every one of you for the support, friendship and fun we have had this year.  We look forward to 2018 with Hope and Love in our hearts.  All of us at Ruby's Antiques & Gifts wish you health, happiness and love in the coming year.  Merry Christmas and a very, very Happy New Year!

New Additions!

With our first WineFest under our belts, last week saw a few changes at the store.  Todd, our "Tool Man" moved into the back room from being upstairs.  This now allows him to offer larger tools, including power tools.  This is great for the "do-it yourself"-er in all of us.

With this change, we are happy to include Cara as our newest vendor.  She has a great eclectic mix of vintage and antique items we think you'll enjoy.  If you haven't yet, stop by and check out the newest selections!  We'd be thrilled to see you!

Week Two

Here we are at week two.  It's been great seeing all of you.  If you haven't stopped in, you are in for a treat.  We have gained a new vendor this week as well as a three new artists.  We will gain a new vendor next week as well as one the beginning of July.  There's still a couple spaces left for those looking to sell vintage and antiques.  Give me a ring or stop on by.
